Job Description

We are looking for motivated Infrastructure Analyst to support our Production Infrastructure Operations team. The intern will work closely with Infra, SRE, and Prod Support teams to build, enhance, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and visualization dashboards across containerized, virtualized, network, and storage environments.
This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world production infrastructure and modern observability tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and enhancing infrastructure monitoring for production environments
• Implement and tune metrics, logs, and alerts for:
  • Container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V)
  • Networking components (load balancers, firewalls, switches)
  • Storage systems (SAN/NAS, object storage)
• Help define SLIs, SLOs, and thresholds for production systems

• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards to visualize:
  • System health and capacity
  • Performance KPIs
  • Incident trends and availability metrics
• Enhance existing dashboards for better visibility and usability
• Work with stakeholders to understand dashboard requirements for Prod Support teams

• Support incident analysis by providing monitoring insights and data
• Assist in identifying gaps in monitoring and alerting
• Participate in post‑incident reviews by improving observability based on learnings
• Automate repetitive monitoring tasks where possible

• Document monitoring standards, dashboards, and runbooks
• Collaborate with Infra, SRE, Network, Storage, and Application teams
• Follow best practices for production support processes
