Job Profile Summary:

In this role, you will represent and support the Medical Underwriting UAT Team. You will be responsible for preparing/reviewing test plans, executing UAT cases, and signing off on UAT outputs related to the underwriting automation functionalities on various platforms such as Customer, Sales, Workflow, and Policy Administration systems. You will report to the functional team leads within the Medical Underwriting Team, ensuring timely UAT tasks delivery.

Job Description:

  • Understand and analyze business processes and requirements for system change requests with clear understanding on cross-platform testing needs.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases, with clear UAT entry criteria and exit criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with the project leads and UAT manager to resolve UAT roadblocks and prioritize system defects fixes, ensure UAT is completed on time and with quality.
  • Review and prepare test plans, suggesting test flow optimizations where possible.
  • Document and sign off UAT results based on business requirements.
  • Follow through on defect resolutions with IT and UAT test manager, ensuring all defects are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and user guides for users, where applicable.

  • Self-driven, passionate, with a strong desire to learn, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good team player 
  • Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English and MS Office
  • Insurance domain knowledge, experience in UAT methodology in New Business/Medical Underwriting is an advantage.

Working Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant job and industry experience preferred
