What you’ll achieve
As a Supply Planning Intern, you will support the Supply Planning team in ensuring the right supply is available at the right time to meet business demand. You will help with supply monitoring, constraint/shortage analysis, inventory health tracking, and reporting that supports weekly planning rhythms.
You will:
- Know the importance of customer, and how Dells global supply chain works to ensure that the needs of the customer are met, using strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills.
- Range of digital enablement planning and supply chain tools
- Process understanding and development customer large order pipeline coordination and supply chain supportability.
- Ownership of one of the planning team’s KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and importance of KPI to managing business.

Essential Requirements
- Being curious on how Dell’s supply chain works, open to asking questions and seek support when needed (it will be provided)
- Working with a variety of teams in a dynamic environment and building relationships, developing skills in stakeholder engagement.
- Solving challenges in varying degrees of complexity and applying an analytical data driven approach.
- Strong communication skills; comfortable collaborating across functions and geographies.
- Good organization and prioritization skills; ability to follow processes, policies, and practices to ensure compliance and consistency.
Desirable Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (e.g., Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, or related fields).
- Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with ambiguity and make sound judgments with limited supervision.
