About Us

Abeam Consulting is a global professional services company that specializes in delivering business transformation and technology solutions to clients across a wide range of industries. With a global presence and over 9000 employees worldwide we aim to be the transformation partner of choice for all of our clients.

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced UKG Kronos Consultant to join our AMS team supporting a UKG Kronos (SaaS) workforce management platform. You will own L2 incident resolution and L3 maintenance changes for time and attendance, scheduling, leave and accruals, and keep the Kronos interfaces running reliably against agreed SLAs. This is an operations-focused role. We need someone who can diagnose an overnight punch-file failure, correct a pay rule that is mis-calculating overtime, and explain the root cause clearly to HR, payroll and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 support for UKG Kronos incidents and service requests, meeting severity-based response and resolution SLAs, and perform root-cause analysis with permanent fixes.
  • Deliver L3 maintenance changes: pay rules, work rules, accrual policies, holiday profiles, shift patterns, schedule rules, attendance policies, paycodes, labour levels and approval workflows.
  • Monitor and support Kronos integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, including employee and leave master data, shift patterns, daily work schedules, punch data, attendance/absence and payroll exports.
  • Troubleshoot interface failures across SFTP, Boomi and SAP Integration Suite (CPI): missing or delayed files, file-size and time-out issues, encryption and certificate problems, session and connection limits, and reprocessing of failed loads.
  • Support time clocks, device profiles, data collection terminals and the Kronos mobile app, including punch-data flow into the platform.
  • Work with payroll and HR operations on pay-period close, timesheet and exception clean-up, TOIL/DOIL and accrual reconciliation, and period-end processing.
  • Act as a liaison with UKG product support: raise, track and escalate vendor tickets and follow them to closure.
  • Assess vendor releases and patches (regression scope, impact on configuration and interfaces), support test cycles and UAT, and manage release deployment.
  • Estimate, design, configure and test Maintenance Change Requests within agreed effort thresholds.
  • Maintain configuration baselines, runbooks, knowledge articles, test scripts and user guides; support knowledge transfer during transition.
  • Contribute to problem management, service improvement and monthly service reporting.
  • Comply with client security, access management, data privacy (PDPA) and audit requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with UKG Kronos (UKG Dimensions / UKG Pro Workforce Management, or Workforce Central), with recent exposure to the SaaS platform.
  • Proven configuration depth in pay rules, work rules, accruals, scheduling, attendance and leave, in a unionised or shift-based, multi-rule environment.
  • Strong experience in production support or AMS for Kronos, with working knowledge of incident, problem, change and release management (ITIL).
  • Hands-on integration experience: SFTP/flat-file interfaces, UKG Integration Hub, Workforce Integration Manager or Boomi, REST APIs; ability to read interface logs and isolate failures.
  • Experience integrating Kronos with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and/or SAP HCM / Employee Central Payroll.
  • Working SQL and reporting skills for data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Good understanding of time-clock and device configuration.
  • Clear written and spoken communication; able to document root causes and work with business, payroll and vendor teams.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or Boomi interface monitoring and error handling.
  • Multi-entity or multi-country Kronos support, including multiple pay groups and legal entities.
  • Experience with UKG Advanced Scheduler, Attendance, Analytics and Reporting.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery, ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and SLA-driven service models.
  • UKG or Kronos certification.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, HR Systems or equivalent practical experience.
