About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations, including middle-mile and domestic deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for transport planning (TMS/Oracle Transport Management system), fleet utilization, driver management, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery services while meeting operational KPIs and customer requirementsKey Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations.
- Monitor and optimize fleet utilization, delivery performance, and operational productivity.
- Supervise drivers and transport coordinators to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Utilize Transport Management Systems (TMS) for job planning, dispatching, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure timely updates of delivery status and operational records.
- Investigate and resolve delivery issues, service disruptions, and customer escalations.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of deliveries.
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transport, logistics, or distribution operations.
- Proven experience in transport planning, fleet management, and driver supervision.
- Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
