Responsibilities

Share a passion to innovate, especially in the design and development of open world games

Collaborate with Creative Director to define the artistic vision for console, online, and multiplayer AAA video game products

Own, share, cultivate and promote the artistic vision throughout the team

Inspire artists to create assets that will fulfill the creative vision of the project

Collaborate with creative director, producers, other key team members and leadership to review progress of the game and adjust the implementation of features to match the vision and scope as needed

Define how the art pipeline works

Create a variety of features, assets, game concepts, and other materials to support production as needed

Coach and mentor art team members and ensure they reach the expected artistic quality

Collaborate with producers to assist in art team staffing and reviewing and verifying production schedules

A portfolio of visionary, inspiring, industry-leading art that you can talk to at depth and explain how your personal creative process was key in its development

At least ten years of professional AAA game development experience

At least two projects shipped in a leadership position

At least two AAA Open-World titles shipped, one during the current generation of games (PS4/XBOX ONE or PS5/XBOX Series X)

Demonstrable, outstanding management and communication capabilities

Proven ability to define and manage the art vision and roadmap for very large scale projects

Confident collaborator and A team player who knows how to work across multiple teams and achieve optimal results, get the best out of everyone on the project and not just within art

Experience prototyping in and shipping a game using Unreal Engine a plus
