Tencent Cloud – Specialist / Senior Specialist, Overseas Cloud Compliance & Risk Management

Tencent Cloud is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Cloud Compliance & Risk Management team. This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and operational integrity across Tencent Cloud’s international regions, with particular emphasis on content governance and risk control strategies for cloud tenant platforms. The successful candidate will oversee daily compliance operations, manage incident responses, and continuously refine risk mitigation frameworks to ensure that Tencent Cloud’s global business remains secure, compliant, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust content governance framework for overseas cloud tenants, covering monitoring, identification, and resolution of non-compliant content, as well as customer complaint handling and process optimization.

• Enhance risk control strategies and continuously improve governance efficiency by refining risk detection models and collaborating with technical teams to implement automated compliance systems.

• Coordinate with overseas legal, public policy, and operations teams to handle regulatory inquiries and external abuse reports, ensuring timely and effective responses in compliance with local laws and industry standards.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Information Security, Law, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years' prior experience in compliance, content governance, and/or risk management within cloud service providers or multinational internet companies.
• Strong command of English and Chinese Mandarin as a working language, with the ability to prepare compliance reports and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to multicultural environments.
• Demonstrated ability to patiently manage high-pressure client interactions while confidently maintaining boundaries and delivering firm, solution-driven responses.
