Tencent Cloud – Senior Strategic Sales Executive (Financial Services, Singapore)
Responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition within Singapore’s financial services sector through direct engagement with enterprise clients.
Identify and cultivate long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at banks, fintech companies, and insurance institutions.
Understand complex financial services use cases (e.g., core banking modernization, real-time payment systems, regtech solutions) and position Tencent Cloud offerings accordingly.
Work closely with pre-sales, product, and legal teams to design tailored solutions and support contract negotiations with the Business Contracts Manager.
Monitor regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics in the financial services space to inform go-to-market strategies.
Represent Tencent Cloud at industry events, roundtables, and customer briefings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership in the sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of B2B cloud sales experience, with strong exposure to, with a strong focus on financial institutions.
Proven ability to sell complex solutions to C-level executives in banking, insurance, and fintech.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, security, and compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry.
Excellent communication skills in English and business-level Chinese Mandarin to effectively engage regional stakeholders.
Familiarity with Singapore’s financial regulatory landscape (e.g., MAS TRM guidelines) is a strong plus.
