The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. The School’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching. The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School. In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities.

LKCMedicine is seeking a meticulous and organised Senior Executive to provide support to the Research Administration and Support Services team. The role will assist with routine research grant administration matters, including documentation, tracking, coordination and follow-up across pre-award and post-award processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with routine pre-award and post-award grant administration matters, including grant call support, proposal documentation, award-related paperwork, variation requests, reporting requirements and closure activities.
  • Collate, check and route grant-related documents for internal review, approval and submission in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain and update grant records, trackers, shared folders and administrative logs to support monitoring of submissions, approvals, deadlines and follow-up actions.
  • Liaise with faculty, research staff, internal University offices and grant team members to obtain required information and follow up on pending items.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline, preferably in business, administration, science or a related field.
  • Preferably 1 to 3 years of relevant administrative, research, finance, grant support or coordination experience; candidates with strong administrative experience and willingness to learn may be considered.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organise information, manage multiple tasks and follow established procedures.
  • Meticulous, organised, responsible and service-oriented, with good follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with research administration, grant support or university processes would be advantageous.
