Provides first-level desktop support for hardware, peripherals, printing, software, connectivity, and internal systems. Handles device provisioning, imaging, deployment, onboarding, and offboarding. Supports audio-visual setup, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown for events across multiple venues, including pre-event checks, video conferencing, recording, livestreaming, and preventive maintenance. Escalates unresolved IT and AV issues to internal teams or vendors while managing concurrent requests and occasional after-hours events.

IT Desktop Support
- Provide first-level desktop support for Mac and Windows laptops, including hardware, peripherals, printing, software and connectivity issues.
- Assist with Mac and Windows laptop provisioning, imaging, deployment and returns, including device setup for staff onboarding and offboarding.
- Provide first-level support for Google Workspace, in-house NUSX systems and standard productivity applications, escalating unresolved issues to the Lead, Services Operation, NUS IT or appointed vendors in accordance with established support arrangements.
AV Support
- Provide AV setup, operation and teardown support on an as-needed basis within working hours for events, town halls, workshops and meetings across i3, BLOCK71 and Curie venues.
- Conduct pre-event AV checks (audio, projection/display, video conferencing, recording and livestream equipment) and provide on-site technical support during events.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of meeting room and event space AV systems; log and escalate faults to vendors where required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Media Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT helpdesk/desktop support and/or AV technical support.
- Working knowledge of Mac and Windows end-user environments and AV systems (audio mixing, displays/projection, video conferencing platforms such as Zoom/Teams).
- Experience with Google Workspace.
- Able to work independently across multiple sites and manage concurrent requests. Support outside standard office hours may occasionally be required, with time off granted in lieu.
- Service-oriented, dependable and comfortable engaging staff, tenants and external vendors professionally.
