As the Technology & Products Group (TPG) Onboarding Manager you will be responsible for leading a global team of Workforce Development Specialists who manage TPG onboarding processes and facilitate orientations across the global TPG organization. In this position, you will work with TPG leaders and global people partners to align the TPG onboarding strategy and annual onboarding business plan to meet hiring demands across all domestic and international TPG locations. You will partner with Micron’s People organization to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and network with Micron’s Workforce Development community to implement innovative onboarding solutions that complement TPG’s tailored and inclusive onboarding platform.

What you will focus on:

  • Establish a global strategy and roadmap for the TPG onboarding function
  • Tie into TPG workforce planning processes to identify the annual hiring forecast at every TPG location and execute onboarding processes and deliverables
  • Establish and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the onboarding processes and the new hire experience, drive continuous improvement, and monitor alignment to onboarding program standards at all TPG locations
  • Lead the TPG onboarding team to establish team synergy, engagement, collaboration, and execution
  • Build relationships with TPG leaders to stay connected to business priorities that impact hiring and onboarding requirements
  • Develop strong relationships and establish a diverse internal and external network to enhance TPG’s onboarding program

Required capabilities and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Five-plus years’ experience supporting onboarding for a technical workforce at multiple locations
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and planning skills with proven capability to execute in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to deliver global cross-functional communications and change management, interacting with all job levels, including executives
  • Success in leading and mentoring a global, multicultural team with demonstrated capability in managing employee performance and development
  • Ability to build strong relationships built on trust and transparency
  • Proactive self-starter with hands-on approach
