THE ROLE

Based in our Singapore office, the HR Generalist will serve as the primary point of contact for HR matters across our Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong offices. We’re seeking a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in HR operations, and who thoroughly understands all facets of benefits, payroll, and tax laws of the countries we support.

In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with a global HR team as well as with multiple regional managers. The ideal hire will be a positive team-player and self-starter, have exceptional communication and time management skills and can effectively prioritize competing tasks.

Some of the main responsibilities include managing payroll, administration of benefits programs, Workday administration & maintaining employee records, as well as coordinating with recruitment and office management teams on issues such as relocations, visas process and onboarding.

 

THE CANDIDATE

  • 7+ years' experience in an HR role based in APAC region
  • Experience in managing payroll, including year-end tax filings for APAC region
  • Experience managing multi-national benefit plans
  • Proficiency in APAC employment laws and employer/employee tax regulations
  • Knowledge of ActivPayroll and Workday (strong plus)
  • Strong communication skills with experience working with all levels of management
  • Flexibility to work varying hours to connect with the global HR team for meetings, as needed (minimum bi-weekly)
  • Fluency in English; Chinese language skills desired but not required
  • Current residence in Singapore

 

THE PROCESS

After passing application screening, candidates will do two rounds of zoom interviews with our local and Global HR teams, followed by an onsite in our Singapore office.
