Job Description

High potential leader ready to lead a team of ~120+ application scientists and technical product representatives (Product Specialists). This will include developing demos, targeted solutions, and sales strategies, maximizing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, partnering with Marketing and service delivery in alignment with the customer buying journey, managing the SAJK COEs, and creating programs to achieve regional financial targets as well as strong LC growth (aligned with the regional target as a minimum) within the operating budget and headcount targets.

Geographical accountability will be in South Asia, Japan & Korea. Even if primary accountability is on the POIS portfolio, it will be critical to ensure strong cooperation with CSD & SSD to ensure adequate solutions and best differentiation vs. competitors.

Furthermore, this role will facilitate the smooth and efficient execution of the Channel evolution key initiative, which will require different levels of specialization depending on the customer buying journey—strong partnership across SAJK leadership to lead & drive medium to long-term business plans.

Finally, content creation will become one critical contribution from this new team supporting the acceleration of digital customer engagement.

Qualifications

* Appropriate undergraduate Degree required; advanced business degree with emphasis on marketing/market management required. MBA or PhD a plus.
* Demonstrated track record of managing multi-functional responsibilities within a global company.

* A proven track record of profitable sales and market growth to be demonstrated over a sustained period.
* Direct people management and sales management experience.
* Experience with product commercialization and application development.
* Proven track record of successful change management initiatives.
* Proven track record of process and workflow improvements across organizations and sales channels.

* Experience in building and leading a multi-functional team, cross-cultural exposure & leadership.
* Excellent organization and planning skills.
* Strong negotiation and enterprise-level sales management skills.
* Demonstrated management, leadership, and teambuilding skills within a complex cross-functional matrix organization.
* Hands-on results, results-oriented experience in the creation and execution of successful sales plans.
* Demonstrated organizational development and collaboration skills are required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
* A robust and strategic thinker who is process-oriented, obsessed with continuous improvement, manages by fact, and has excellent conceptual skills demonstrated through disciplined, succinct communication.
* Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional environment with the ability to lead, influence, and shape opinion among a peer group of senior managers.
* Outstanding communication skills with an ability to clearly and crisply communicate complex issues such as Agilent's strategies, product plans, and channel and brand management programs.
* Passion for talent development with the ability to select and grow high-potential managers who will contribute to the growth of Agilent organization in the region.
* Strong drive for growth and success, highly driven with good maturity level.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
