Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Assistant Facilities Manager is charged with supporting the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. Places an emphasis on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives.

About the job:

  • Assist the Building Manager in daily operations
  • Lead a team in the provision and implementation of maintenance services at designated site(s)
  • Troubleshoot building services failures
  • Supervise, plan, and organize on‑site teams and contractors in carrying out planned and ad‑hoc maintenance works and routines
  • Ensure efficient and effective maintenance of client facilities through routine checks and preventive maintenance strategies
  • Source, negotiate, and follow up with contractors on repair and replacement works to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Prepare monthly and incident reports pertaining to the site(s)

About you:

  • Minimum Diploma in any Engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or related).
  • Experience in building operations and maintenance, including troubleshooting of building services systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise on‑site teams and contractors, managing both planned and ad‑hoc maintenance works.
  • Competent in contractor coordination, preventive maintenance planning, and preparation of monthly and incident reports.
