At Xtremax, we build digital platforms that power services used by millions. As a Technical Business Analyst (Cloud & AI), you'll work at the intersection of technology, business, and customer engagement—helping organisations turn complex challenges into scalable digital solutions.

This role goes beyond traditional business analysis. You'll collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product teams, and customers to shape solution designs, define technical requirements, and support the delivery of cloud-native applications. You'll also have opportunities to participate in solution workshops, proof-of-concepts, and customer discussions during pre-sales engagements.

If you have a software engineering background, enjoy solving business problems with technology, and want to help organisations adopt modern cloud and AI capabilities, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibility
  • Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and user needs.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution discussions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, solution architects, and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for digital transformation using cloud technologies.
  • Support solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical discussions during customer engagements and pre-sales activities.
  • Work within Agile Scrum teams to prioritise product backlogs and support sprint planning.
  • Coordinate testing activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production rollouts to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing trusted technical and business advisory throughout project delivery.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 4–7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Solution Consultant, or similar role.
  • Good understanding of modern software development practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams in delivering digital solutions.
  • Strong experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable user stories.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integration, and cloud-based applications.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
  • Previous hands-on experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or Software Developer.
  • Experience supporting solution architecture discussions or technical pre-sales engagements.
  • Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience implementing or supporting AI-enabled or Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives within enterprise or public sector environments.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern Agile delivery practices.
