Who you will work with
- Senior executives and legal teams shaping strategy and executing on their most complex transactions.
- A diverse range of the world's most ambitious companies and investors across multiple sectors and geographies.
- Cross-functional client teams, including in-house legal, commercial and procurement to deliver practical solutions on complex transactions.
- Clifford Chance global lawyers in corporate, private capital, IP, employment, antitrust, litigation, finance, tax, capital markets, and energy, all as part of a close-knit APAC team of technology specialists.
What you will be responsible for
- Be part of our APAC team advising clients on complex data, cyber, technology and AI regulation across APAC providing support on regulatory projects, data incidents and public policy to help ensure clients meet their strategic objectives.
- Support complex cross-border technology and commercial transactions with a focus on digital transformation and digital infrastructure, including drafting and negotiating contracts and supporting senior lawyers on the team.
- Support on data/cyber/AI/technology aspects of corporate transactions and transitional services agreements including due diligence.
- Mentor, inspire and help lead teams, driving excellence.
- Help build and manage client relationships, driving business development and thought leadership.
- Translate complexity into clear, actionable advice for senior stakeholders.
- Help grow the firm’s profile through thought leadership, media engagement, and strategic client development.
Your Experience
You bring:
- 4-6 years post-qualification experience at a top-tier international law firm.
- Preference for Singapore and UK qualified lawyer
- Fluency in English and preference for Mandarin
- Deep expertise in: data, technology and AI regulation across APAC; cross-border technology and commercial transactions with a focus on digital transformation and digital infrastructure; data/cyber and technology specialist support in corporate transactions.
- A track record of supporting complex projects.
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, project management and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strategic vision and commercial instinct.
- Outstanding academic credentials and a reputation for first-rate legal skills.
- Strong experience collaborating across multiple countries.
