The Talent Partner will act as a strategic advisor and proactive driver, working in close partnership with the Head of Talent Management to bridge the gap between strategic priorities and the people agenda. While supporting the design and governance of talent management frameworks, the Talent Partner is empowered to independently own and drive key projects and outcomes across the SEAA region.

The role will also take responsibility for managing Executive Hiring and leading related recruitment initiatives, ensuring these activities are executed to the highest standard and aligned to the broader talent vision.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

You will have a direct hand in championing and driving a forward-looking talent agenda, creating a robust internal pipeline for critical roles, and inspiring leaders to nurture talent with lasting impact. In close partnership with the Head of Talent Management, you will take ownership for elevating talent function capabilities, building influential networks, and embedding human-centred and data-informed decision-making in practice.

SEAA Talent Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of a forward-looking talent agenda that blends internal and external talent levers, insights and business priorities.

 Talent Initiatives

  • Guide and support succession planning and leadership development in partnership with market and regional leadership, ensuring visibility of key roles and readiness of successors.

  • Provide strategic insights and challenge to business leaders, leveraging data and relevant insights to shape talent decisions, address capability gaps, and unlock opportunities for both internal and external talent mobility

  • Proactively cultivate and develop next-generation capabilities by identifying emerging skillsets and partnering with leaders to build targeted interventions that future-proof the organisation.

  • Independently manage and drive strategic talent initiatives, ensuring high standards, effectiveness and alignment with Chanel’s leadership and cultural models

  • Maintain a vigilant focus on external market trends, talent intelligence, and evolving industry dynamics, bringing an ‘outside-in’ perspective to inform Chanel’s talent strategies and ensure ongoing relevance and competitiveness.

Performance Management

  • Contribute to the performance management framework to ensure alignment with the overarching talent strategy and accelerate capability development.

  • Coordinate performance review cycles with talent reviews and succession planning.

  • Represent the region in Global performance management-related strategic initiatives.

Executive Recruitment

  • Carry out executive recruitment work for the SEAA region - manage core activities such as talent mapping, pipeline management and end-to-end executive recruitment (direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offer and closing the search).

  • Attract top talents and enhance Chanel’s employer brand through providing exceptional candidate experience.

  • Foster effective partnerships and build trusted relationships with the People & Organization community, hiring managers, business leaders and functional leaders.

YOU ARE ENERGISED BY

  • The opportunity to craft and implement talent management frameworks and programs that influence talent development, retention, and performance across multiple markets.

  • Opportunity to connect across the business and solve people-centred problems; helping to align talent strategy with business goals; advising senior leaders on talent needs and succession planning.

  • Collaborating with leaders and working cross-functionally with other P&O teams, business leaders, and regional teams.

  • Facilitating input, buy-in, and best-practice sharing among stakeholders.

  • The challenge of hiring exceptional leaders who will shape the organisation’s future.

  • Navigating the complexity, urgency, confidentiality and other high demands of executive recruitment.

  • Staying ahead of industry trends, leadership competencies, and market shifts.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • At least 8 to 10 years’ experience of Talent Management, specialising in developing and implementing talent strategies for large organisations with diverse business priorities.

  • Capabilities in Executive / Leadership hiring, demonstrated experience and capabilities in Executive / Leadership hiring, strategic and operational Talent Acquisition, within a multi-national and highly matrix environment.

  • Experience facilitating senior leadership team meetings and effectiveness in designing, developing, and deploying leadership, management, and professional development solutions to accelerate the Talent strategy.

  • Skills in tools supporting work of this role, including Workday and the Microsoft suite and in particular Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Constructive Challenger: Proactively questions existing processes and practices, advocating for improvements with tact and solution-oriented thinking.

  • Strategic Connector: Sees the bigger picture, identifies patterns, and creates connections that drive talent outcomes across the organisation.

  • Exceptional Communicator: Adjusts communication style to suit different stakeholders and ensures messages are understood.

  • Independent Operator: Works confidently and autonomously, taking ownership of responsibilities and making sound decisions without close supervision.

  • A dynamic, creative, and inclusive environment where you can make a real impact on people and culture.

  • The chance to work on meaningful initiatives that celebrate individuality and empower employees.

  • The chance to learn from executives who value talent as a strategic asset.

At Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress. We believe the uniqueness of each individual increases the diversity, complementarity and effectiveness of our teams. We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience and potential you could bring to Chanel.
