Job Description
Your Career
As the Talent Development Partner for JAPAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing talent development initiatives that enable our business leaders and teams to grow and perform at their best. Embedded within JPAC, you will act as both a consultant and program execution lead, ensuring that development efforts align with Palo Alto Networks’ business priorities and culture.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our VP of People - JAPAC, TA & PBPs & business leadership teams to deliver high-impact learning experiences. You will play a key role in developing managers, driving leadership acceleration, and embedding a culture of continuous learning.
Your Impact
Strategic Business Alignment & Talent Development Execution

Partner with business leaders, PBPs, and Talent Acquisition (TA) teams to assess leadership and skill development needs at all levels.

Deliver and tailor leadership and functional development programs to ensure relevance for different functions, regions, and audiences (e.g., Sales, Product, Engineering, G&A).

Support leadership teams (including VP+ executives) with customized coaching engagements, team workshops, and capability-building initiatives.

Facilitate enterprise-wide leadership programs, team offsites, and high-impact learning sessions.
Leadership & Manager Enablement

Execute structured, action-oriented leadership programs focused on key skills like influencing, team leadership, and communication.

Support leadership readiness for first-line and middle managers, helping them transition into leadership roles effectively.

Implement development frameworks to ensure leaders are equipped for business transformation and innovation.
Building a Culture of Learning & Internal Mobility

Create and execute initiatives that foster career growth, skill development, and internal mobility within functions and regions.

Work closely with PBPs and function-specific leaders to ensure career pathways and mentoring frameworks support employee retention and progression.

Work with global teams to adapt learning content and approaches for different regions and cultural contexts.
Driving Continuous Improvement

Define and track key talent development metrics, such as stakeholder Net Promoter Score (NPS), program adoption rates, and business-aligned impact assessments.

Continuously refine development programs based on data, feedback loops, and evolving business needs.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Influence

Partner with PBPs, business and TA leaders to align development efforts with hiring, performance, and retention strategies.

Act as a bridge between central talent programs and regional execution, ensuring that global initiatives are effectively localized and implemented.

Provide feedback to Global Talent Programs on the effectiveness of learning content and execution models.

Interlock with our Sales Enablement Teams to ensure program offerings are complimentary

Understanding of the regional nuances with an ability to navigate and adapt to provide global consistency yet locally relevant solutions (also covered in experience)
Qualifications
Your Experience
-
7+ years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development (L&D), Organizational Development, or HR Business Partnering.

Strong background in leadership development, capability-building, and career coaching.
-
Experience supporting functional and regional business leaders in a fast-paced, global organization.
-
Proven ability to facilitate leadership programs, consult with senior stakeholders, and execute large-scale learning initiatives.
-
Data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics and analytics to measure program success and refine strategies.
-
Experience working with AI-powered learning platforms or digital learning solutions is a plus.
-
Global experience and the ability to adapt talent programs across cultures and regions is highly preferred.
Additional Information
The Team & Structure
You will be a member of the Global Talent Org, working closely with People Business Partners (PBPs) and business leaders within your assigned function or region. You will report directly to the VP of Global Talent Org (Talent Acquisition + Talent Development).
