How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be passionate about development and committed to delivering high-quality solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design and develop software applications, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your ability to collaborate, innovate, and adapt to changing requirements will be key to your success.
What you do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product vendors on projects, system design, and deployment

  • Performs impact assessments for new initiatives and participate in system designs and application development

  • Delivers business systems enhancements, integration, and implementation according to business and user requirements

  • Provide support for SIT and UAT, including troubleshooting technical issues, performance management, security compliance, and release management

  • Review technical design, SIT test plan, test result, and support UAT for any assigned projects

  • Plan and coordinate production system implementation

  • Identify, assess, and manage technical risks across project lifecycles.

  • Reviews, monitors and manages vendor’s deliverables

  • Ensure compliance to any internal or external rules & processes within the bank

Who you are

  • Degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science

  • At least 5 years of software development experience

  • Strong knowledge in AS400 modules such as Electronic Banking System (EBS), SIBS and Cards  

  • Strong AS400 commands and OS features

  • Intermediate level in CLLE, RPGLE, iSeries & Utilities

  • Experience with Unix, Java, Oracle, and .NET is a

  • Experience with DevOps tools/practices (BitBucket, JIRA, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible, Confluence)

  • Experience in SDLC and Agile methodology

  • Self-motivation, drive, and ability to work independently and as a team player
