What are we looking for?

We are seeking a strategic and accomplished Senior Vice President (SVP) or Vice President (VP) of Partnerships to drive our expansion across the diverse and rapidly growing Asia Pacific (AP) markets. Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, forging high-impact partnerships, and significantly contributing to Pulse iD's revenue growth throughout the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong enterprise sales background, extensive experience working with banks and FIs in AP, and a keen understanding of the credit card ecosystem. Experience with Credit Card Management Systems (CMS) is highly desirable.

What you will be doing (Responsibilities):

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and telcos across key markets in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline, taking ownership of deals from lead generation through to closure with the support of the deal squad, considering the diverse market dynamics within AP.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within retail banking and the credit card industry across various AP countries.
  • Leverage your existing network and build new connections across the AP region to accelerate pipeline growth and convert existing opportunities.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial deals that align with Pulse iD's strategic objectives and resonate with the needs of different AP markets.
  • Analyse market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs across the AP region to identify future potential growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of regional (AP-focused) sales plans and partnership programs for optimal performance and growth.
  • Enhance the business value and revenue streams from existing key partnerships in the region.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure successful partnership implementation and ongoing management tailored to AP market requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory environments, and the competitive landscape within the loyalty, payments, and financial technology sectors across key AP countries.
  • Represent Pulse iD at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events in Singapore and across the AP region.

What you need to have (Qualifications & Experience):

  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years for SVP, 7+ years for VP) in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, with a significant focus on the financial services industry, particularly banks and FIs, across multiple Asia Pacific markets.
  • A strong, demonstrable track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving significant business growth in the AP region.
  • Deep understanding of the banking and payment domain in AP, with specific expertise in the credit card business (issuing, acquiring, processing, loyalty) across diverse regulatory and market conditions.
  • Familiarity and experience with Credit Card Management Systems (CMS) is highly desirable and will be a key differentiator.
  • Extensive network of relevant industry contacts within retail banking, credit card divisions, and financial institutions across key AP markets.
  • Proven ability to build on leads, strategically grow the sales pipeline, own complex deals, and successfully convert opportunities in a multi-country, culturally diverse region.
  • Exceptional skills in strategic planning, business partnering, compelling presentations, business modeling, and data analysis.
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS platforms is essential.
  • FinTech industry knowledge, particularly within loyalty and payment solutions, is crucial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity to operate effectively across AP.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Asia Pacific region.

Sounds great?

We offer the following:

  • An exciting, fast-paced company with the opportunity to build meaningful solutions for the industry.
  • An opportunity to work with talented industry practitioners who support, motivate, and learn from each other.
  • An attractive remuneration package with equity options.
  • Flexible, remote working.
  • Genuine career growth possibilities.
