Business Function:

Group Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Job Description:

The Consumer and Wealth Management Performance Marketing Lead will oversee and drive digital marketing strategies across our Consumer and Wealth segments. This role focuses on achieving business growth through effective media strategies, optimizing customer journeys, ensuring cross-market synergy, and implementing advanced digital marketing and ad-tech capabilities. They will also serve as a key contact for performance reporting and digital marketing expertise within the Consumer Business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define the marketing platform strategy and develop the overall MarTech business solution design to automate marketing operations, campaign management, content management, personalization, digital marketing ad-tech capabilities, and tracking and measurement.

2. Oversee the marketing platform architecture design and development by partnering with technology teams and vendor partners.

3. Operationalize the enterprise marketing platform and continuously improve the Platform Operating Model to build capabilities and deliver value.

4. Track initiative delivery progress, manage dependencies and critical paths for platform capability development, and create delivery reports, proposals, and presentations tailored for executive audiences.

5. Establish governance standards and evaluate tools (buy/hold/sell) to build marketing capabilities that deliver efficiencies and effectiveness across paid media advertising, new customer acquisition, and existing customer lifecycle management across all digital channels. Ensure defined governance standards for tools and capabilities are followed across the bank and other platforms.

6. Effectively communicate the marketing platform vision, strategy, and expectations to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

7. Ensure all platform work, encompassing both Build (IT Initiatives and Enhancements) and Operate (support and maintenance), adheres to the DBS Platform Management Standard and relevant policies. Monitor financials and ensure quality delivery across all Martech workstreams

8. Monitor and manage platform value and performance, including customer outcomes and business metrics, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

9. Define and implement a cost allocation methodology for MarTech tools based on licensing models and usage across the enterprise. Optimize the total ownership cost of the marketing platform.

10. Manage the monthly platform governance council and other relevant forums to facilitate decision-making on tool governance and initiative approvals, resolve blockers, document decisions made in the council, follow up, and track the implementation of decisions made in the platform council.

11. Manage demand for the overall marketing platform, maintaining a backlog of work along with a published prioritization rubric.


Requirements

- Experience with MarTech/AdTech platforms implementation, usage across content management (either of open text, liferay, AEM or sitecore), DAM solutions, CDP solutions, Measurement solutions (either of Adobe analytics, Google analytics, AppsFlyer, Branch, Adjust), Google Marketing Platform, Meta platforms and data integration tools and unified customer communication gateway.

- Exposure to new emerging technologies around Gen AI, agentic orchestration tools shaping the MarTech platform.

- Over 15 years’ experience in product management/ product owner role building marketing capabilities and executing large enterprise marketing transformation using data, technology.

- Excellent commercial and technical awareness with a keen eye for detail.

- The candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

- Prover record of strong leadership in doing transformation, platform development, people management and change management capabilities.

- Master’s degree in engineering, digital marketing or any other technology focussed fields

- PMP or equivalent programme management certification.
