Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Loan Growth & Business Development

    • Drive growth of the Private Banking loan portfolio in line with strategic objectives.
    • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through tailored credit solutions.
  • Transaction Structuring

    • Structure bespoke lending transactions, including margin financing, share-backed loans, and other complex credit facilities.
    • Ensure proposals are well-articulated, highlighting key risks and mitigants.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Meet clients alongside Relationship Managers to understand financing needs and provide expert advice.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to Relationship Managers, assisting with credit-related queries and deal prioritization.
  • Credit Process Management

    • Prepare and submit high-quality credit proposals with clear rationale and risk assessment.
    • Liaise with Group Credit and Legal teams to ensure timely approvals and compliance with internal policies.
  • Proactive Risk Management

    • Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify potential risks.
    • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and risk factors impacting credit decisions.
