Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Loan Growth & Business Development
- Drive growth of the Private Banking loan portfolio in line with strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through tailored credit solutions.
Transaction Structuring
- Structure bespoke lending transactions, including margin financing, share-backed loans, and other complex credit facilities.
- Ensure proposals are well-articulated, highlighting key risks and mitigants.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Meet clients alongside Relationship Managers to understand financing needs and provide expert advice.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Relationship Managers, assisting with credit-related queries and deal prioritization.
Credit Process Management
- Prepare and submit high-quality credit proposals with clear rationale and risk assessment.
- Liaise with Group Credit and Legal teams to ensure timely approvals and compliance with internal policies.
Proactive Risk Management
- Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify potential risks.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and risk factors impacting credit decisions.
