The Supply Chain manager is responsible for leading the strategy and execution in Singapore related to sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, logistic, Toller and distribution. 

Will lead the optimization of a complex network in a matrix organization, while driving cost out of the business and sourced products, improving safety, on time delivery, quality and processes to our customers.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop, design and implement a long-term strategic vision of supply Chain infrastructure and footprint that supports upstream business in Singapore

  • ·       Define and enhance the Supply Chain strategy with a safety/ service / savings focus consistent with company and group direction, drive year over year variable cost productivity Responsible to SCM daily operation, including planning, procurement, manufacture, warehousing, logistic, import and export.

  • Ownership on site facilities at GUL plant

  • Oversee and ensure all Supply Chain-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.

  • Partner with key stakeholders including manufacturing, sourcing and commercial teams to drive continuous improvement on safety, service, saving and inventory.  

  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal control over Supply Chain flow and accounting of inventory receiving, shipping, returns and other inventory areas. Financial responsibilities related to supply Chain performance, including inventory and accountability of the logistic network

  • Overall in charge of supply Chain annual budget.

  • Develop, coach and lead Supply Chain teams, while setting measurable goals and objectives to measure success.

  • Improve Employee satisfaction score and people development.  

  • Leading a team size of 40-50 with 5 direct reporting managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering or Supply Chain Management  

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management with more than 5 years working in Chemical experience.

  • Fluent in English Language is a MUST, having TPM /Lean experience is an added advantage

  • Strategic and analytical mind; passionate in driving results for the supply chain efficiency.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills in leading a diverse team of associates.
