In this functional leadership and cross-sector role, you will work with others and be instrumental in developing and building a business in your area(s) of expertise. To be successful, you are commercially savvy, with a passion for and track record of business development contributions in a professional services environment.  

What you'll need

  • At least 10 years of a combined consulting and industry experience in South East Asia, South Asia or Greater China
  • Deep functional expertise in supply chain - strategy, S&OP, network optimization, distribution, logistics, risk management, resilience planning, digital enablement, etc.
  • Clear spike / demonstrated success in cost reduction in direct and indirect categories in multiple client contexts with ability to estimate value across supply chain, build should-cost models, coach client teams on agile RFx / negotiations and help clients achieve substantial value than they would on their own
  • Brings a mature consulting toolkit:
    • Has strong orientation of what drives value in a client context – problem solving and aligning client and junior AlixPartners teams towards exceptional outcomes
    • Builds and elevates client relationships
    • Leads engagement planning and delivery – manages scope / timelines, inspires teams and coaches them on effective / productive / practical ways to results
    • Brings structured client and opportunity development – tracks leads, builds perspectives on industry developments / implications for target clients, advances leads by driving clarity on problem statements and solution proposals, keeps the cadence on the opportunities through logical outcomes
    • Brings entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building the sourcing and supply chain practice in the region
