Job Description
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Supervising Producer to support the Director of Content to ensure the effective management and delivery of cross-platform commercial content solutions for its Asia Pacific operations. This role will be pivotal for Catalyst in ensuring that the innovative and creative content produced by the studio upholds the best-in-class standards audiences have come to expect from our brand.
We are looking for someone with a passion for and experience in creating amazing content across multi-platforms. The Supervising Producer will work closely with the production teams to oversee projects from inception of ideas to delivery, across multiple projects on all platforms.
The Supervising Producer must be creative and have visual flair, fully understands compliance issues, and is also calm, organized, and proficient in troubleshooting. The team will look to the Supervising Producer for creative guidance, leadership, and managerial direction across the full production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management to ensure that commercial projects are executed and delivered on time and on budget.
  • To produce and originate distinctive multiplatform content.
  • Planning content and leading production shoot on location within APAC
  • Liaising with c-suite and leaders to secure and schedule interviews.
  • Working with and reviewing third-party content to ensure suitability for use, re-editing assets as necessary, and ensuring production standards are maintained.
  • To ensure content reflects our diverse audiences.
  • Able to lead the team to develop creative ideas which engage diverse audiences in a demanding creative environment.
  • To keep up to date with emerging industry trends.
  • Develop and manage positive working relationships with staff, contributors, and talent and be able to give constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the department's strategy.
  • Seek improvements in content production to develop further efficiencies in working practices.
  • Accountable for the compliance and content delivery of output.


Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

  • Min. 8 years in creative producing, project management, and in ad-sales and branded content
  • A thorough knowledge of editorial guidelines and other compliance policies or has the desire to glean this knowledge quickly.
  • A passion for content and a great understanding of the area in which the role operates.
  • Strong track record in the area in which the role operates with a wide-ranging knowledge of production processes.
  • Significant experience in producing and delivering multiplatform productions.
  • Proven experience of the latest production techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and knowledge of the target audience, their needs, and expectations.
  • Experience in influencing, negotiating, and communicating effectively both internally and with external agencies/partners.
  • Ability to establish effective short and long-term relationships with a wide range of people, talent, partners, and agencies.
  • Highly developed planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to manage several areas of work at one time, prioritizing, delivering consistently to deadlines, and reacting positively to changes and conflicting priorities.
  • Proven experience of taking ideas from concept to finished product whilst driving forward creativity.


Desired Characteristics:

  • Outstanding written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Excellent, business level English language skills as a priority, other language capabilities greatly valued.
  • Expertise in video and digital content development, including branded entertainment and native advertising.
  • A strong portfolio and history of creative content campaigns and projects.
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing publisher landscape, with a track record of leading strategic content marketing solutions.
  • A collaborative, 'can do' approach that encourages co-operation between internal departments and helps to enhance NBCU's client relationships.
  • Creativity and a passion for innovative problem solving.
  • An ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressured environment; meet deadlines and effectively prioritize projects.
  • A keen interest in evolving storytelling techniques and technologies
  • Willingness to travel as required and to work flexible hours when necessary.
