Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) provides leading-edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security, and Digital Aviation solutions for Civil and Defence markets.
AMS manages over 40% of the world’s airspace, delivers ATM solutions to more than 85 countries, and generates over €500M in annual revenue – making us the global market leader in airspace management. Role DescriptionWithin the Advanced ATC Systems Department, the NEXGEN Project organisation is looking for a Sub Contracts Program Manager based in Singapore to work closely with project stakeholders (internal and external). You will ensure that Thales’ subcontracted goods and services are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with NEXGEN Project needs and Thales’ strategic objectives.
You will report to the NEXGEN Project Director and work closely with customers, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment – driving program visibility, resource optimisation, and continuous improvement. You will ensure programs meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance while strengthening delivery capability.
ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end contract management, from negotiation and drafting through to closure
Ensure legal, regulatory, and internal policy compliance for all contracts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for optimal contract administration
Identify risks and develop mitigation plans throughout the contract lifecycle
Oversee contractual performance, purchase orders, and payment processes
Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth contract execution
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Management (or equivalent), or demonstrated experience in contract law, contract management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in supplier management.
At least 15 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 6 years in offer and/or project management (as PMO or PM), with thorough knowledge of the entire program lifecycle.
Certified Project Management professional (IPMA, PMP, or equivalent).
Strong experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
Proven project management skills, including interdepartmental coordination.
Expertise in risk management and ensuring contractual compliance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, and analytical skills, with a pragmatic and autonomous approach
