Opportunity for Impact
Taxbit is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager to help launch our new Singapore office. This opportunity reflects Taxbit’s continued global expansion, with this role being a pivotal piece of growing our customer base and network in the APAC region. This position will report to the Head of Strategic Accounts, and tasked to drive post-sale expansion revenue across our most strategic and complex customers. This role is central to Taxbit’s growth, as tax information reporting requirements continuously expand across new jurisdictions, products, and regulatory use cases. The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of enterprise sales expertise, a strong customer partnership mindset, and deep curiosity to understand complex, global, multi-product organizations in order to uncover expansion opportunities.
This role requires professional fluency in both English and Mandarin. This role is open only to candidates who currently reside in Singapore and are legally authorized to work there (e.g., holders of a valid Employment Pass or Permanent Resident status). The position requires on-site availability and alignment with local business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive expansion revenue across assigned enterprise accounts by identifying and closing cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth account research to identify customer growth initiatives that trigger new tax information reporting requirements, and convert those insights into expansion opportunities
- Use a blend of customer data, platform usage, regulatory changes, and product releases to build multi-year account expansion strategies
- Execute complex enterprise sales cycles with disciplined account planning, executive alignment, and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement
- Lead executive-level customer alignment meetings and long-term roadmap planning sessions along with the product team
- Operate with tight coordination across New Logo Sales (clean handoffs, account strategy alignment), Customer Success (adoption health, renewals, expansion readiness), and Technical SMEs (product feasibility, integrations, regulatory implementation to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Deliver clear, organized, and outcome-driven executive communications internally and externally
- Develop deep understanding of Taxbit’s products and global tax information reporting requirements that influence customer purchase decisions
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of proven success owning and closing complex revenue deals with enterprise customers
- Strong background in fintech, crypto, payments, marketplaces, or regulated SaaS, or equivalent experience selling into highly regulated financial environments
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate regulatory complexity into revenue strategy
- Outstanding customer communication and executive presence
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence deeply cross-functional teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and rapidly evolving market
- Willingness to travel as needed
