The role

As a Strategic Account Development Representative, you take ownership of a focused book of our most strategic accounts, held for the long term. Working embedded alongside the account relationship team, you build deep, continuous account intelligence and use it to originate new opportunities and grow existing relationships. This is a senior, consultative pipeline role built on depth over breadth: fewer accounts, worked harder, worth more. Your key responsibilities include:

Strategic Account Ownership: Own a small book of high-value strategic accounts, held for the long term. Apply a depth-over-breadth approach to raise win rates and deal size on the accounts that matter most, providing a consistent point of continuity within each account.

Continuous Account Intelligence: Build and maintain live intelligence inside each account. The buying group, stakeholder maps, regulatory drivers, competitive position and change signals. By holding this context over time you shorten complex sales cycles and keep opportunities moving.

Net-New and Expansion Development: Originate and progress new opportunities through consultative discovery and a compelling value hypothesis, while identifying and developing expansion and cross-sell opportunities within the existing relationship, protecting and growing the account on both fronts.

Executive Engagement: Establish and maintain trusted, multi-threaded relationships across the buying group, up to executive level. Map stakeholders and orchestrate a consistent drumbeat of outreach and engagement across commercial and operational contacts.

Collaborative Opportunity Shaping: Shape well-evidenced opportunities and partner closely with Field Sales and Client Success to progress them, carrying account context through every stage rather than handing off. Together you create and progress pipeline across the account.

Performance and Accountability: Take ownership of the pipeline you create and influence across both new business and expansion, using data to track engagement and outcomes and consistently delivering against your goals.
