Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.
This role involves identifying and resolving process-related problems using methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, and SPC. Additional responsibilities include evaluating and optimizing processes, equipment, and materials; driving yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives; supporting new process qualifications; and managing, auditing, and collaborating with material suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk objectives.
1) Contamination Control Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Drive global Contamination Control (CC) strategy, programs, and performance to achieve Best-in-Class (BIC) outcomes and zero customer deviations.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Manufacturing, QRA, PE, and partner functions to resolve yield, reliability, cleanroom-related issues and mitigate contamination risks.
  • Develop and manage CC metrics, KPIs, and best practices; standardize processes and ensure effective communication across sites.
  • Engage global CC community and external networks to align with industry direction and maintain knowledge of CC standards, tools, and methodologies.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, ensure timely issue resolution, and communicate progress and proposals effectively.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize the procedure, consolidate/analysis/summary information and daily task optimization.

2) Capacity Expansion Enablement for Contamination Control Scope
  • Lead CC strategies to enable capacity, throughput, and fab utilization while maintaining quality compliance.
  • Integrate CC into capacity expansion programs to prevent yield or reliability risks (AMC, particles, metallics, environment).
  • Drive process optimization and contamination-safe throughput improvements (e.g., recipe, queue time, load size).
  • Define CC guidelines for tool matching, process window expansion, cross-qualification, and advanced nodes.
  • Establish data-driven monitoring (AMC, particles, humidity, temperature) for early detection and safe ramp.

3) Cross-Geography Wafer Shipment Contamination Control
  • Develop and implement global CC strategies for wafer shipment and cross-site transfers to ensure consistent quality.
  • Standardize carrier strategies (FOUP/FOSB), nitrogen purge, mini-environment controls, and environmental specifications across sites.
  • Define monitoring and response SOPs, and establish layered contamination defenses (carrier integrity, environment control, real-time monitoring).
  • Drive centralized governance and KPI tracking to ensure adherence to CC standards across all fabs

4) Project Management
  • Lead and execute CC projects to reduce process and equipment variation and support corporate goals.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables using approved tools; align short- and long-term plans across sites and functions.
  • Drive accountability through clear metrics, regular status tracking, and structured updates to stakeholders.
  • Recruit and leverage global resources, set ambitious yet achievable targets, and ensure teams deliver against timelines and objectives.

5) Requirements
  • Masters or Bachelor or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • Min 5 years relevant Wafer Fab experience
  • Good communication in English
  • Willing to travel
