The suitable candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructures that meet the unique needs of customers, with primary focus on Microsoft Azure environments.

What you get to do in this role
- Azure Network Architecture: Design and implement advanced Azure networking solutions, including complex VNET architectures, ExpressRoute configurations, and Azure Firewall deployments to meet enterprise-grade requirements.
- Good understanding of GCP and AWS: Implement and manage network resources across multiple cloud environments to support enterprise hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform (with strong focus on AzureRM Provider), Ansible and GitLab to automate the provisioning and management of Azure network infrastructure, ensuring consistency, reproducibility, and scalability.
- Azure Security & Compliance: Implement robust Azure network security using NSGs, Application Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Azure DDoS Protection, and Private Link to meet Federal compliance requirements.
- Network Performance Optimization: Design and implement Azure Load Balancers, Application Gateways, and Traffic Manager configurations to optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
- Bare Metal Integrations: Demonstrate proficiency in installing and configuring network devices (Panorama, Palo Alto, ISE, Fortinet, F5, NGINX) that integrate with Azure,AWS and GCP environments.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 6+ years experience with cloud computing technologies with strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure networking
- 6+ years of hands-on experience working with Cloud Service Providers and hypervisors, particularly in designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud network architectures
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex network architectures in Azure, including:
- Advanced VNET configurations, peering, and gateways
- ExpressRoute and ExpressRoute Direct implementations
- Azure Private Link and Service Endpoints
- Azure network security and compliance solutions
- Experience with other cloud providers (AWS, GCP) to support multi-cloud initiatives
- Proficiency in using Terraform and Ansible to automate Azure infrastructure provisioning
- Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex Azure networking issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Federal customers is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
