As a Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Managed NAND Senior Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will collaborate with a team of brilliant engineers, utilizing state-of-the-art automated test equipment (ATE) and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP and artificial intelligence) to solve complex problems. You will be responsible for supporting the Managed NAND (MNAND) Multi-chip Product (MCP) from the New Product Introduction (NPI) to the Sustaining phase. This role involves addressing package specific DRAM and UFS/NAND issues, by closely working with cross-functional teams such as 3D NAND device, ASIC/FW, and DRAM teams, and assisting in the qualification and ramping of MNAND MCP products.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality and cost-efficient MNAND test strategies.

  • Understand UFS and LPDRAM defect mechanisms and collaborate with ecosystem teams to develop effective and innovative test suites.

  • Collaborate with test engineering teams to define and secure necessary test fixtures for memory and system testing.

  • Conduct electrical failure analysis of the MNAND products through different phases of the product life cycling such as qualification, high volume manufacturing and customer returns.

  • Extensive usage of data analysis and parsing tools to improving yields, test times and quality of the products.

  • Establish robust business processes with partnering teams to validate all Test changes systematically, efficiently and drive continual improvement.

  • Meet project milestone deliverables and achieve best-in-class quality, yield, test-time metrics.

  • Drive best practices through continual alignment and appropriate knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum B.Eng in Electronic Engineering or related field.

  • Able to work under fast pace and high-pressure environment.

  • Able to work in a laboratory and engineering environment.

  • Able to write engineering report/summary of issues analyzed.

  • At least 3 years of experience in two of more of the following areas:

  • Knowledge of storage interfaces, especially in UFS/LPDRAM would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of 3D NAND or LPDRAM storage.

  • Knowledge of product level testing and electrical failure analysis(EFA).

  • Knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE), oscilloscopes, logic and/or interface protocol analyzers.

  • Experience with software tools (e.g., JMP), artificial intelligence (AI) tools, and statistical methods for data parsing and analysis.
