As a Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Managed NAND Senior Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with a team of brilliant engineers, utilizing state of the art automated test equipment (ATE) and data analysis tool(e.g. Jmp and artificial intelligent) to solve complex problems. You are responsible to enable the New Product Introduction by closely working with the cross functional teams such as 3D NAND device, ASIC and FW teams and assist Qualification and Ramping of Managed NAND(MNAND) - UFS.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Develop high quality and cost-efficient MNAND test strategies.

  • Understand MNAND system error recovery features and 3D NAND defect mechanisms.

  • Collaborate with Managed NAND system design and eco system teams to develop UFS system test suites.

  • Collaborate with test engineering teams to define and secure necessary test fixtures for memory and system testing.

  • Conduct electrical failure analysis of the MNAND products through different phases of the product life cycling such as qualification, high volume manufacturing and customer returns.

  • Extensive usage of data parsing and data analysis for improving yields, test times and quality of the products.

Requirement:

  • Minimum B.eng in Electronic Engineering related field.

  • Able to work under fast pace and high pressure environment.

  • Able to work in a laboratory and engineering environment.

  • Able to write engineering report/summary of issues analyzed.

  • >3 years of experience in at least 2 of the following areas:

    • Knowledge of storage interfaces, especially in UFS/uSSD would be an advantage.

    • Knowledge of 3D NAND flash or other non-volatile storage.

    • Knowledge of product level testing and electrical failure analysis(EFA).

    • Knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE), oscilloscopes, logic and/or interface protocol analyzers.

    • Knowledge of using software(e.g. Jmp), artificial intelligent(A.I.) tool and statistical studies in data parsing and data analysis.
