- Take responsibility for the end‑to‑end delivery of the TSI/Telecoms Engineering Package.
- Support the Telecoms Lead Engineer in all telecom-related engineering activities.
- Develop Telecoms Systems Specifications, TSI Scope of Work, and Bill of Materials.
- Prepare Telecoms system block diagrams, sketches, and related technical documentation.
- Review and validate telecoms system studies including PAGA coverage, radio coverage, VSAT link calculations, and fibre optic link budgets.
- Prepare technical requisitions and perform technical bid evaluations for telecoms systems.
- Perform telecoms power consumption, heat dissipation, and weight calculations.
- Liaise with clients to address engineering comments and propose technical solutions.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to manage system interfaces and integration.
- Ensure all telecom engineering deliverables comply with technical, quality, and schedule requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecommunications).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Telecoms Detailed Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably on offshore projects.
- Knowledge of international regulations, codes, and standards affecting Telecoms Systems.
- Knowledge of Telecoms studies and calculations.
- Proficient in writing Telecoms specifications.
- Team player who can interact effectively with colleagues from other disciplines, clients, and suppliers.
