About the Role
The Senior Manager, Internal and Executive Communications, Asia Pacific, will be a key member of the Internal and Executive Communications team in driving the internal communication strategy and plan for the region. The primary goal is to energise Visa’s culture with a modernised approach that excites and engages employees about Visa’s business strategy, purpose, and culture. The role will be key in devising and executing multi-channel campaigns and initiatives targeted to engage employees on relevant business priorities, key milestones and when appropriate large-scale change. We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, proactive, creative and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication and Planning
- Support the direction and execution of the internal communication strategy and plan for Asia Pacific, aligning with global communication goals to energize Visa’s culture, strategic priorities, drive business growth, and advance and protect Visa’s reputation.
- Contribute to the development of the internal communication plans for the Regional President and the AP business across internal communication channels.
Content Development and Management
- Write and edit content including talking points, speeches, slides, emails, and internal social networking content related to business, purpose, people, and culture.
- Support on the development and execution of Asia Pacific-wide dynamic digital communication channels which may include newsletters, intranet, digital signage, and internal social platform.
- Develop proactive and creative internal communication campaigns that inform, engage, and inspire employees.
- Ensure all communications are timely, accurate, on brand, and aligned with the company’s purpose, strategy, and culture.
Collaboration and Partnership
- Partner with colleagues across the Communications organisation at global, regional, and market levels to ensure message alignment and to generate agenda and content ideas.
- Localise global internal communication campaigns and drive the development of regional internal campaigns that drive adoption and consistent delivery of key messaging.
- Equip market communication leads with the necessary support and materials to amplify awareness of global and regional internal communication campaigns within their markets.
- Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and agency partners to develop and execute digital assets and collaterals in support of campaigns and initiatives.
- Partner with key groups and functions outside of Corporate Communications to support strategic plans and initiatives.
- Support internal events including executive site visits, town halls, annual kick-off, and marquee moments – managing invitations, briefing books, liaising with key stakeholders, and pre and post-event promotion.
Measurement and Reporting
- Develop and implement metrics and measurement processes into internal communications to demonstrate impact, effectiveness, and drive ongoing improvement.
- Assist with reporting and tracking metrics to ensure success is measured against campaign and activation goals.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in any relevant discipline
- 10+ years relevant working experience
- Experience in tech/fintech and or /financial services, strongly preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in internal communications/employee engagement.
- Experience/understanding of running internal social media channels is a plus.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Skilled in working with PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and other digital communication tools.
- Ability to synthesise business issues into programmes, agendas, and content that address challenges and celebrate key milestones.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, pivot quickly, and respond with urgency.
- Sound business judgment and experience “connecting the dots” among seemingly unrelated topics.
