As a Senior HR Business Partner supporting Southeast Asia, you will play a key role in shaping organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and talent strategy across a dynamic and growing regional business environment.
Partnering closely with senior business leaders, you will translate business priorities into people strategies that strengthen organizational performance, accelerate talent outcomes, and enhance colleague experience. This role offers the opportunity to influence complex organizational decisions, lead transformation initiatives, and build scalable people solutions across a global matrix organization.
What You Will Do
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with senior leaders across Southeast Asia to align people strategy with business priorities, organizational growth, and operational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, and change management.
- Translate business needs into scalable HR solutions that enhance performance, engagement, and organizational capability.
Talent and Organization
- Lead talent initiatives including succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and organizational design.
- Support the attraction, development, and retention of high-performing and diverse talent across the region.
- Coach leaders on team effectiveness, leadership capability, employee engagement, and organizational change.
Transformation and Change
- Drive organizational and cultural transformation initiatives in partnership with business and HR leaders.
- Use workforce insights, analytics, and diagnostics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Support enterprise HR initiatives and regional change programs within a fast-paced matrix environment.
Employee Experience and HR Leadership
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture aligned to Thermo Fisher’s 4i Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and regional stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-impact people solutions.
- Ensure alignment with employment legislation, company policies, and ethical business practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant progressive HR experience within global, matrixed organizations, ideally supporting regional or multi-country businesses.
- Strong business partnership capability with experience translating strategy into impactful people solutions.
- Experience advising senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce planning, and change management.
- Demonstrated capability in talent management, leadership coaching, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills across multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced, and evolving business environments.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices within Southeast Asia preferred.
- Experience within life sciences, healthcare, technology, shared services, or other complex multinational environments preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
