Provide L1/L2 operational support for enterprise market data platforms (LSEG RTDS, Bloomberg B-pipe, exchange feeds) across AWS and on-premises. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with vendors/exchanges, run upgrades/migrations and failover tests, support onboarding and entitlement reviews, maintain documentation, and improve monitoring and automation.

Job Role
Support and operate the bank’s enterprise market data platforms and vendor feeds to ensure stable, resilient, and compliant delivery of real-time and reference data to trading and business applications across cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 operational support for enterprise market data platforms (e.g. LSEG RTDS, Bloomberg B-pipe, exchange feeds) across AWS and on-premises infrastructure.
- Proactively monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate recovery to meet availability targets.
- Act as the primary liaison with vendors and exchanges for production incidents, data queries, and technical changes.
- Plan and execute production activities including upgrades, migrations, failover testing, and resilience enhancements.
- Support onboarding of new applications and data services, ensuring alignment with architecture and governance standards.
- Collaborate with Market Data Admin and Commercial teams on entitlement, usage reviews, and audit requests.
- Maintain operational documentation and continuously improve monitoring and automation capabilities.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience supporting market data platforms such as LSEG RTDS, Bloomberg B-pipe, or direct exchange feeds.
- Solid understanding of real-time data distribution, symbology, and entitlement models (e.g. DACS, EMRS).
- Experience supporting mission critical production systems with high availability requirements.
- Familiarity with Linus/Unix environments and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
- Exposure to AWS or hybrid cloud environments is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools is preferred.
- Any experience with Trader Voice and Voice Recording (IPC, NTR, VFC) would be advantageous.
- Any experience with remote Windows desktop solutions would be useful.
