Responsible for providing administrative and client service support to Private Banking clients.
- Provide administrative and client service support to Private Banking clients with a focus to execute account closure actions
- Liaising with client to obtain account closure instruction including asset/ cash outward transfer instruction service account for the purpose of account closure
- Respond to all client enquiries including requests for client meeting, instructions and provide resolution to most issues and requests (including any spot FX transactions per clients’ requests to convert the monies in their accounts to the requested currencies)
- Respond to client enquiries for advice on sell-down of their investment assets and/or execute client instructions to sell-down their investment assets for the purpose of account closure
- Monitor transactions and activities in client accounts
- Maintain client data and reports, such as: contact lists, account numbers, facilities details, status of credit reviews/renewals, etc
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling of appointments, preparing correspondences, arranging meetings with clients
- Coordinate with Product Groups, Operations and other functional areas as necessary
- Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in client servicing, operations or sales support within financial institutions
- Bachelor degree or diploma holder
- Strong understanding of financial products and services with a focus on managing client exit actions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills, able to manage challenging client conversations.
- Meticulous, strong attention to details
- Possess future oriented mindset, strive to innovate and adapt to changes
- Strong understanding of inter-dependencies within the team and able to collaborate effectively across departments
- Preferably conversant in both English & Mandarin
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain empathetic, passionate and resilient
- Preferably CACS certified
- Chinese proficiency is required as this role is required to deal with Chinese clients
