Position Summary:
Pelagus 3D is seeking a Solution Architect to be part of our growing team! The role will provide a unique and exciting opportunity to create and manage the infrastructure of the Pelagus Platform. The candidate will be part of our energetic team, ideating and planning our growing platform functions, and meet with customers to successfully implement our platform with their systems.
The candidate will take charge of our platform’s technical infrastructure roadmap, provide guidance on the development team’s work, and work with the wider team to ensure compliance from a cybersecurity and data management perspective. The ideal candidate will have work experience in digital platforms and familiar with designing integration with enterprise systems. Senior developers looking to grow as a Solution Architect are also welcomed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Manage Platform Architecture:
- Own the architecture and optimise setup for operational availability and scalability
- Maintain oversight on infrastructure growth requirements according to the platform roadmap
- Work as a team with our developers for proper implementation of codes and databases
- Ideate solutions to challenging feature implementations
- Platform Integration:
- Work with the team for integration efforts with customer ERP (e.g., SAP Ariba), for seamless data communication and processing
- Design integration mechanisms with scalability in mind
- Hold technical meetings with customers to understand requirements and communicate integration plans and progress.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the integration process.
Technical Skills :
- Expert knowledge in cloud-based IT architecture and design.
- Good knowledge of coding languages and databases such as JAVA, Spring Boot and SQL servers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to understand business requirements and identify the most suitable IT solutions
- Experienced in designing and implementing integration solutions using middleware, APIs, and other technologies.
- Good understanding of technologies such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and middleware platforms.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and their integration mechanisms.
- Basic project management skills to drive integration initiatives with customers
- Good knowledge of international data regulations and cybersecurity best practices
Non-Technical Skills:
- Excellent written/oral communication skills in English
- Good interpersonal skills and comfortable with working with international team-mates and customers
- Passionate for technical excellence
- Comfortable in performing demonstrations and manage technical meetings
Profile:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer, IT lead, Architect, or similar role in a technology-driven organisation.
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science/IT or similar discipline.
