Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Solution Architect

You will work in Singapore Government Agencies

What will you do?

Partner with A*STAR project and solution lead to co-lead the end-to-end solution architecture and project shaping for the AI for Drug discovery (AIDD) target evaluation platform, translating scientific and business needs into a secure, scalable agentic AI solution. The role aligns stakeholders, architecture, delivery plans and governance to deliver the proof of concept and establish a foundation for configurable, multi-tenant AIDD workflows.

• Define the target-state architecture, solution blueprint, integration patterns and phased roadmap for the AIDD target evaluation workflow and shared cloud platform.
• Translate target-evaluation stages into modular agentic workflows spanning validation, evidence retrieval, biological reasoning, therapeutic direction, narrative generation, scoring, evidence storage and quality assurance.
• Lead solutioning and phased planning across the proof of concept, configurable workflow and AIDD-wide scale-up, including scope, priorities, dependencies, milestones, risks and technical decisions. Translate approved architecture decisions into clear work packages, interfaces and acceptance criteria with the Delivery & Tech Lead.
• Design for human oversight, provenance, traceability, security, AI governance and measurable quality, throughput and cost controls.
• Align business, scientific, engineering and delivery stakeholders; facilitate architecture reviews and resolve cross-team design and integration issues.
• Guide cloud, data, model and agent selection, ensuring extensibility for configurable workflows, feedback loops, external collaboration and multi-tenancy.

What are we looking for?

• Substantial experience in AI solution architecture, enterprise technology delivery or digital transformation, with responsibility for end-to-end technical outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, agentic systems, machine learning, cloud platforms, software architecture, data integration and API-based ecosystems.
• Ability to convert complex business and scientific workflows into scalable architectures, delivery roadmaps, interfaces, schemas and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Practical experience with AI governance, safety, testing, explainability, security, provenance and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, structured problem-solving and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, computational biology, information systems or a related discipline.
• Architecture and delivery of agentic AI, RAG or multi-agent solutions, with practical AI governance, evaluation or red-teaming experience.
• Design of configurable, multi-tenant cloud platforms, AI control planes or reusable AI factory capabilities.
• Life sciences, drug discovery or computational biology experience, supported by relevant cloud or machine-learning certification and senior stakeholder advisory skills.
