- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress frameworks.
- Collaborate with software development and QA teams to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.
- Execute automated test suites to validate functionality, detect defects, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Enhance and optimize automation frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders regarding product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation and testing technologies, integrating relevant tools and techniques.
- Promote continuous improvement within the SDLC by advocating automation and efficient testing practices.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Work with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Actively contribute within Agile/Scrum teams for iterative development and testing.
- 9+ years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in Selenium and Cypress.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
- Hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
