Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Software Engineer who is looking to be part of a diverse and highly skilled team.
As a Senior Engineer QA, you will be responsible for automation, designing, building and maintaining test strategy for the portal studio product.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
- Perform manual testing for exploratory, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing.
- Design and maintain test plans and documentation
- Participate in the full R&D lifecycle of our products including design, development, testing, bug fixing, documentation and 3rd line support
- Provide 3rd line technical support
- Share knowledge, guide and train colleagues
- Be an active member of the team
- Contribute to improvements in IFS products, services and processes
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and backend applications.
- Perform manual testing to validate new features, identify bugs, and verify fixes across all platforms.
- Design and update test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute regression, integration, smoke, system, and user acceptance tests.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and log them in tools like Jira, ensuring proper tracking and closure.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or automated frameworks.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across features, platforms, and environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Senior Software Engineers (Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automated testing commercial business applications)
- The experience with enterprise-wide business applications or IFS Applications is an added advantage
- Excellent Quality assurance skills
- Expert in at least one of the scripting languages
- Basic UX design skills
- Good software security knowledge
- Good performance knowledge
- Software documentation skills
