Team Overview:
The AI Search Operations Team is responsible for the day-to-day operations, stability and continuous improvement of ServiceNow AI Search as the enterprise search engine. In addition to platform operations, the team owns the application workflow development required to support, extend and automate AI Search-related use cases across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
The team ensures that AI Search delivers consistent, accurate and reliable search experiences while enabling business workflows through custom and out-of-the-box ServiceNow workflows.

The AI Search Operations Team is responsible for the day-to-day operations, stability and continuous improvement of ServiceNow AI Search as the enterprise search engine. In addition to platform operations, the team owns the application workflow development required to support, extend and automate AI Search-related use cases across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
The team ensures that AI Search delivers consistent, accurate and reliable search experiences while enabling business workflows through custom and out-of-the-box ServiceNow workflows.
What you get to do in this role:
- Operate and support ServiceNow AI Search as a critical enterprise platform capability.
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability of AI Search services.
- Handle incident management, problem resolution, and operational support.
- Own application workflow development related to AI Search use cases.
- Design, build and maintain application workflows related to cloud infrastructure.
- Build automation for provisioning, lifecycle management and decommissioning workflows
- Collaborate with application development teams to onboard new enhancements.
- Manage enhancements, defect fixes, and continuous improvements in alignment with business priorities.
- Ensure operational readiness, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- Experience in using AI Productivity tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, etc. is a plus or nice to have
- 2 to 4 years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Experience with Linux or Shell Scripting
- Analytical and design skills
- Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
