Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Software Engineer

You will work in Singapore Government Agencies

Internal Code: A26315

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 1 year.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems that support government digital services and citizen-facing platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing applications and infrastructure.
  • Participate in code review processes to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
  • Partner with UX designers to develop comprehensive product designs that meet user needs and government service requirements.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3 years experience (or equivalent level of skill) with modern web applications using JavaScript.
  • Experience in frontend development with React.js
  • Experience in backend development using Go and/or Node.js is highly advantageous
  • Experience with modern web applications in JavaScript is highly advantageous
  • Experience in automated testing using JavaScript testing frameworks/libraries such as Karma, Mocha, Chai and Sinon is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with database management/usage (both relational and non-relational), and handling of data in different environments is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in using Docker containers, development of CI/CD pipelines, and deployment using cloud services such as AWS/PasSes/your own private servers is a nice bonus.
  • Experience in the software development lifecycle in an Agile context is a plus point.
  • Experience in Scrum is a plus point.
