Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Software Engineer

You will work in Singapore Government Agencies

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 1 year.

What will you do?

We're seeking a Software Engineer to transform architectural concepts into production systems across our full technology stack. You'll build and maintain in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, Lambda functions, and both backend and frontend applications while ensuring governance and compliance standards.

• 5+ years full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in IaC (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc) on AWS
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD/Pipeline with GitLab
• Hands-on experience in AWS with experience in ECS and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in backend technologies (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or similar)
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
• Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

Architecture & Compliance

• Proven ability to translate high-level concepts into scalable technical implementations
• Experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements in production
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Experience with system integration and event-driven architectures

Technical Capabilities

• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform, OpenTofu)
• Cloud platform (AWS)
• GitLab pipelines
• Backend framework (Java/Kotlin/Python preferred)
• Self-directed, pragmatic problem solver who balances technical excellence with business needs, communicates effectively across teams, writes maintainable code, and stays current with technology trends.
