We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager, APAC in Singapore to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of social media initiatives across the APAC regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that support marketing and sales objectives, growing our digital presence, and driving engagement across multiple platforms, with a specific focus on Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a tailored social media strategy for the APAC regions, aligning with key client segments and business goals.

  • Establish and sustain a growth strategy for Instagram and other emerging social channels, ensuring engagement and brand visibility.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze social media trends, platform updates, and industry innovations to keep the strategy relevant and forward-thinking.

Paid Media Campaigns:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across LinkedIn and other platforms, ensuring timely execution and strong ROI.

  • Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistency in messaging, creative briefs, and copywriting that align with broader marketing and sales strategies.

  • Oversee the social media budget, optimizing spend based on performance KPIs and campaign results.

  • Collaborate with creative teams, copywriters, external agencies, and compliance teams to produce engaging and compliant content.

  • Utilize AI tools for generating optimized social media posts.

Organic Content & Hearsay:

  • Build and nurture partnerships with local teams increase adoption and usage of Hearsay.

  • Develop a localized content strategy to ensure content resonates with local markets, drives engagement, and supports Hearsay’s program.

  • Coordinate with local marketing teams to establish a sustainable content plan for Hearsay, including determining post frequency and content types.

  • Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements specific to each market to ensure compliance.

  • Align paid and organic content strategies, leveraging paid creatives for organic engagement and expanding reach.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for organic content management across Franklin Templeton’s corporate social media channels in APAC

Creative Campaign Support:

  • Ensure all campaigns are designed with social-first visuals to increase engagement and reduce reliance on generic imagery.

  • Collaborate with creative teams to bridge gaps and deliver optimized visuals tailored to social media platforms.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Take full ownership of performance tracking and reporting, providing detailed campaign analysis to key stakeholders.

  • Identify and address gaps in tracking systems to streamline data accessibility and improve decision-making.

  • Share insights from campaign performance with relevant teams to refine strategies and optimize future efforts.

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in social media strategy, campaign management, and content creation, ideally within a global or regional context

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging channels.

  • Experience with paid media management, including budgeting, optimization, and ROI analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, including creative, compliance, and local marketing stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with AI-based tools for social media content creation and performance optimization.

  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks across APAC regions.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.

  • Self-starter with a proven ability to work autonomously

  • Experience working with global teams across multiple regions.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • Understanding of investment management, financial services, or related sectors.
