Designs and maintains CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment systems using Puppet and IaC tools. Monitors Node.js applications and microservices, improves scalability and resilience across hybrid clouds, and leads incident response and root-cause analysis. Builds observability systems covering telemetry, logging, and alerting. The role also requires expertise in containers, cloud platforms, Linux/Unix administration, networking, security, and troubleshooting distributed systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, secure, and rapid deployment of banking applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment utilizing Puppet and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks within Node.js applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities across hybrid cloud environments.
- Lead incident response efforts, conduct thorough root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to minimize system downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive telemetry, logging, and alerting systems to ensure deep observability of production environments.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience working in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or system engineering role within a high-availability environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with configuration management tools, specifically Puppet.
- Proficiency in software development and scripting, with practical experience in Node.js and shell scripting.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and modern observability tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack).
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, networking protocols, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
