Site Support Specialist
(Inventory & Asset Management)
Position Summary:
The candidate will be based on customer’s site(s) and encouraged to Ensure customer’s consumables and chemicals inventory under the Inventory Management (IM) program are sufficiently stocked to their needs. They would be encouraged to be scientifically and technically inclined.
Essential Functions:
Inventory Management
- Handles delivery of laboratory supplies (consumables, chemicals, and reagents) from Suppliers and to Customer’s stockrooms and points-of-use accordingly.
- Perform goods receipt in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems upon receiving of these laboratory supplies.
- Be reactive to stock level adjustment and provide communication/feedback to customer based on usage and replenishment data to keep stock level updated.
- Stock check inventory supply ensuring products are not expired and at recommended stock level.
- Perform reliable delivery to customers at their working areas.
- Providing other site support inventory management services which support the laboratory operation as defined by service results to customers.
- Ensure good housekeeping around the stockroom and point-of-use areas.
Asset Management
- Render support to Senior Site Engineer at Customer Site in the following services under the Asset Management Services (AMS) program.
- Perform verification, calibration, and preventive maintenance (PMs) with in-house Metrology SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Maintain in-house calibration and qualification tools to ensure that they are timely calibrated and maintained.
- Handle and Coordinate with External Third-Party (3P) vendors to support numerous services (calibration, PM, Qualification, repairs).
- Respond as per on-site service request guidelines to ad-hoc Service requests triggered by Laboratory End Users within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Ensure accurate documentation creation, management, updates and tracking of services rendered in this program, using Asst Management system.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Possesses an ITE or a Diploma in Science or related field
- Candidate with experience in the use of ERP system and logistic work would be preferred
- Phenomenal teammate with out-going and pro-active personality who is meticulous at work
- Good interpersonal and coordination skill to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
- Possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Works primarily in the laboratory environment at Customer Site
- May be required to work independently
- Relevant training will be provided
