SG047E: Finance Controls & Process Analyst
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement in financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal control processes and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist in financial planning and forecasting activities, including budget preparation, forecasting models, and scenario analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed to ensure audit objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting, controls, and analysis, recommending and implementing changes to optimize workflow and enhance accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management, providing insights into specific financial metrics or performance indicators to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments, including accounting, treasury, and operations, to gather financial data, resolve issues, and support business objectives.
