Role
We are seeking a Services Business Development Leader for Asia Pacific. This is Senior management level role and key member of global Services Business Development and Asia Pacific Services Leadership Teams. Responsible for driving revenue and leading AP Services sales across managed and unmanaged accounts, as well as expanding new channels this role demands a versatile, agile sales leader with strong communication and team management skills. Manages large team across the markets in the region. Works closely with Mastercard division and country management as well as account teams to identify opportunities with clients and drive the growth of our Services business in the region..
• Responsible for developing and delivering our in-region Services sales strategy and directing all business development for with direct responsibility for all sellable revenues for Services• Deliver against aggressive sales goals both in-year and TCV, driving new logo growth, improving ARR and services penetration• Act as a Player-Coach with expectation to travel extensively to help selling process, lead critical client engagement and coach team• Be capable of developing and maintaining relationships with customers at the most senior levels• Strong communication and influencing skills, should be a compelling presenter to senior client audiences and able to influence large deals• Excellent problem solving and analytics skills and should be able to go head-to-head and influence internal stakeholders and customers alike with fact-based thinking • Will serve as the face of Mastercard Services to senior level client stakeholders, including c-suite• Will partner with AP leadership to develop a plan for Services Business Development to support core, commercial and market strategic imperatives and positively differentiate Mastercard• Facilitate the implementation of BD strategies and sales action plans to identify programs that create meaningful impact for clients• Build, recruit, manage, develop, and coach a team responsible for each different customer's business opportunities to increase revenue, share and volume• Partner closely with all product teams to ensure customer needs and product innovations align with development road maps• Partner closely with Products, Consulting & Client Services, and Finance teams to drive and actively track delivery and revenue

• Deep understanding of the suite of Services value propositions with a thoughtful approach to executing against a defined territory• Strong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships based on empathy, thought leadership and subject matter expertise• Preferably strong consulting and / or data-driven and / or technology solution selling background• Strong networker across relevant stakeholder base with the ability to listen, build common ground and influence to effectively advance business opportunities and generate revenues• Proven track record of progressively complex sales and strategic account management experience within the financial services sector; payments industry experience is preferred• Demonstrated successful account and / or market management experience• Excellent communication and presentation skills• Revenue management and P&L experience• Goal-setting abilities, along with strategic and sales planning experience for large, distributed sales teams• Top-level sales skills combined with deep commercial acumen and strong negotiation capabilities• Deep experience across the Asia-Pacific region ideally with significant exposure to financial services
