Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Valuation Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh Valuation Services is expanding its valuation capability across Asia, and this role will play a key part in building that presence. The Senior Valuer will lead business growth and deliver high-quality valuations of plant, equipment and infrastructure, primarily for insurance purposes. This is a client-facing, commercially oriented role with broad regional exposure and leadership responsibility.

We will count on you to:

  • Assist with the growth of the valuation practice across Asia, building relationships internally and with key external clients and brokers.
  • Manage and deliver complex valuation engagements from scoping through to final report, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and quality assurance on valuation methodology, approaches and tools. • Drive business development: prepare proposals, support pitching, and convert opportunities into engagements.
  • Oversee project budgets, resourcing and commercial performance.
  • Mentor and collaborate with valuers across the region on technical and client-delivery matters.
  • Travel regionally and globally as needed to support client engagements.

What you need to have:

  • 8+ years’ valuation experience, ideally with a strong background in Energy & Power assets preferred (power plants, transmission, generation equipment, etc.).
  • Experience delivering valuations for insurance, financial reporting or regulatory purposes is strongly preferred. • Membership or eligibility for RICS, ASA or equivalent professional body.
  • Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
  • Proven business development track record and a growth mindset. • Project management and financial oversight experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a regional team.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

What makes you stand out:

  • Strong background in Energy & Power asset valuation.
  • Demonstrated success growing a valuation practice or converting business opportunities into engagements.
  • Experience leading regional client relationships and cross-border delivery.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
